Microsoft is set to launch a new Surface Pro 2-in-1 and Surface Laptop this spring, according to a new report, and they're tipped to deliver Snapdragon X power.

We've seen multiple new Surface devices launch in the last year, and apparently Microsoft has at least two more on the way in the next couple of months.

According to Windows Central, Microsoft is about to release new smaller versions of the Surface Pro 2-in-1 and Surface Laptop “in the coming weeks.” These new versions will remain premium products, with 11-inch or 12-inch screens and more lightweight designs.

Microsoft has already scheduled a “major” Surface for Business event next week. There, we’re anticipating variants of the current Surface Laptop 7 and Surface Pro 11 CoPilot Plus PCs that have Intel’s Lunar Lake chips inside and are aimed at business customers.

Microsoft is reportedly just a few months away from delivering us smaller, cheaper Surface devices, in the form of a new Surface Pro and Surface Laptop. They should offer consumers improved portability – perfect for those who travel frequently.

Microsoft may be getting ready to launch smaller Qualcomm-powered versions of its most popular Surface devices, the Surface Pro and Surface Laptop.
