Arborvitae, otherwise known as Thuja ... the latter of which is commonly referred to as the Pacific or western red cedar and is the largest Thuja species growing up to 230 feet.

Apart from the American arborvitae, there are other species such as the western red-cedar or giant arborvitae (Thuja plicata) and the deerhorn cedar or false arborvitae (Thujopsis dolabrata).
