A possibly-dangerous fault with the Kawasaki-built engine inside the recalled John Deere mowers has led to five cases of reported fires and more than two dozen reports of melting or smoking.

The recall includes John Deere ZTrak Zero Turn Mowers with Kawasaki Engines. The green and yellow mowers have the model number and "John Deere" printed on the front, below the seat. Need a break?
