Apr 15, 2017 · As mame developers improved the game emulation in later versions, I tried the rom with lr-mame2010 and sound is there ! Being an old game it has no performance issues with the "heavier" 2010 lr-mame. Tip: change aspect ratio setting in RGUI to 3:4 to get more real game feeling; by default lr-mame 2010 stretches horizontally in a terrible way.

Sep 10, 2022 · It's been a while since your post, but I wanted to offer some insight. I had the same issue with using cheats in Retroarch MAME, and it took me a while to figure it out. One thing I want to point out is when you’re playing a game, you can enable cheats through the Retroarch menu by setting “Enable cheats” to On.

Aug 11, 2016 · If not for this, I feel that xx10 could be the one-size-fits-all MAME / Neo-Geo emulator. With more powerful hardware to run it on, it is a perfect all-in-one solution. I coincidentally have a late 2010 version of Mame running on my personal arcade cabinet that I built in October of 2010 and there's really nothing it can't play from it's rom set.

Apr 25, 2016 · To do this, MAME needs to be able to locate and save .cfg files to a directory specified in the mame.ini. However, it seems as though these settings are being ignored after MAME 2010 closes and is relaunched from Emulation Station. Any idea why MAME 2010 would be ignoring the .ini file?

Apr 7, 2021 · Keeping on-point, when possible, 2016 should trump 2010. For one thing, you could 7zip 2016 ROMsets and they'll work nicely. If you have any questions about compatibility, refer to my Arcade Recommendations List. You'll note that lr-fbneo is highly recommended, but you'll also note 2016 vs. 2010 compatibility for other ROMsets.

I'm using Mame 2010 on a RPi4 and i'm having an issue as the controller config wont save. I had set up the controls and then rebooted but it doesn't save. I'm pressing TAB in the game and using the 'Input for this game' option to configure the controls.

Jul 12, 2021 · Is there any 1G1R (1 Game, 1 Rom), or ALL Killer No FIller dats for MAME 2010, 2015, 2016? I don't know why something that sounds simple doesnt have a simple solution to this. I dont want clones or Mahjong roms in the set, but at the same time the best way for your MAME build is by getting a rom set instead of the individual roms.
