18 Iúil 2020 · The kit that I bought is model X432C16FB3K2/16 - 99U5743-007.A00G. The RAM looks to be compatible except for timings and XMP profiles. The stock RAM runs at 20-20-20 at 1600MHz (per channel) on XMP Profile 2. The new RAM runs at 17-17-17 at 1600MHz (per channel) on XMP Profile 1. As you can see, the problem boils down to the XMP profiles.

I have looked up various forums and discussion boards and noticing varying results which lead me to a few concerns.

29 Márta 2021 · I bought an XPS 8940 recently with 16Gb of RAM. My research suggests it's 2933Mhz with a CL21, no XMP profiles on the board. That's an effective latency of 14.32ns. I replaced it with HyperX 32GB 3200MHz CL16 RAM. However, without the XMP, it runs at 2400Mhz with a CL 17. That's an effective latency of 14.17ns.
