    Is this a copy of the original 1611 Bible?
    Villanova's scan site states that this the first printing of 1611. Ruth 3:15 shows "he went" into the City. The second printing fixed this to "she went". This might be a photocopy of a bible, BUT IT IS NOT A COPY OF THE ORIGINAL 1611 BIBLE. This is a much latter version of the bible that has been revised from the original version.

Forty seven scholars were involved in translating The Old Testament, The New Testament and the Apocrypha into English. All of these scholars were members of the Church of England (CoE).
